From Drop-offs to 183K Quest Completions: How Helika Powered Wanderers' Success

Wanderers struggled to receive any actionable insights from the complex and decentralized Web3 space, making it difficult to track player behaviors and understand which game features were driving engagement and where players were dropping off. The inability to track player behaviors and understand key engagement drivers resulted in missed opportunities for player retention and optimization, which are critical for long-term success for games.

Challenge

Wanderers understood the essence of retention and engagement but faced difficulties getting granular data insights to understand which features of their game and platform were retaining attention, where users were dropping off, what was converting, etc. This created challenges for the studio to effectively track on and off-chain behaviors to create user personas and optimize their experiences.

Modular ID System

Helika helped in the creation of Wander ID, a modular ID system that allows players to use logging-in methods they are familiar with, while still having Web3 components like wallets. This 1-ID system allowed the team to build out their personas, without having to segment wallets and needing them to tie back to the game.
